BIRON

The Sparkmace

"Build the storm. Then let it break."

FULL RUNTIME · 0:00 — 3:40
0:00 – 0:12

Hook & Identity

"Biron doesn't just swing a mace — he builds a storm. Every hit charges his weapon, every skill crackles with electricity, and every fight becomes a relentless chase. Biron isn't about rushing into fights. He's about building pressure until the enemy runs out of room to breathe. In this guide, I'll show you how to harness the current that makes Biron the Sparkmace."
0:12 – 0:38

Skill Showcase

"His power builds with every strike.

Passive – Charge

Basic attacks and standard skills generate Charge. At thirty Charge or more, his mace becomes Electrified, empowering his attacks and abilities.

Skill 1 – Electrifying Charge

Swings twice, dealing damage while restoring health — with stronger damage and recovery when Electrified. A powerful trading tool during extended fights.

Skill 2 – Storm Strike

Dash forward, damaging enemies in your path and empowering your next basic attack to slow the target. At thirty Charge or more, that empowered strike becomes Electrified — dealing increased damage, launching and stunning the enemy before slowing them again. Reliable engage and crowd control in one button.

Ultimate – Force Field Suppression

Slam the ground, damaging and slowing enemies while granting yourself a shield. When Electrified, it releases an electric wave that steals enemy movement speed — making it even harder for enemies to escape once Biron reaches them."

0:38 – 1:25

Basic Flow & Core Combo

"New Biron players react to opportunities. Experienced Biron players create them.

Your basic trading pattern is simple: use Storm Strike through the minion wave, land the empowered basic attack, then follow with Electrifying Charge. This deals steady damage while quickly building Charge toward your Electrified state.

In the early game, pressure the lane by using Electrifying Charge to hit both minions and the enemy whenever possible. Its damage and healing make you difficult to push out of extended trades.

Once Electrified, your engage becomes much stronger: use Storm Strike, land the empowered basic attack to launch and stun the target, then follow with Electrifying Charge and your ultimate to slow enemies, gain a shield, and control the fight. When enemies stay just outside your reach, combine Storm Strike with Flash to close the gap and catch them off guard.

For upgrades, prioritize your Ultimate whenever possible, then Skill 1, and finally Skill 2. Build Charge whenever you safely can, manage it intelligently during fights, and look for the right opening to force an engage."

1:25 – 2:30

Advanced Mechanics — Offense, Defense & Tech

"Now this is where Biron starts becoming truly oppressive. Most players understand his abilities. The best Biron players understand his timing.

Charge Management

Your entire kit becomes more threatening when Electrified. Before forcing a fight, look for opportunities to build Charge through minions, jungle camps, or nearby enemies — so your strongest abilities are available the moment you engage.

Animation Canceling

Your empowered basic attack has a long recovery animation. Cancel it by immediately chaining Electrifying Charge or your ultimate — keeping your damage smooth and giving enemies less time to escape.

Early-Game Pressure

Biron is strongest early. Use your level two and level four power spikes to pressure the lane, force trades, and look for solo kills through sustained damage and recovery. Create opportunities before enemy carries have time to scale.

The Two Engage Patterns
  • Without Charge: start with Electrifying Charge across multiple enemies to power up during the fight, then use Storm Strike to control your target.
  • With Electrified ready: lead with Storm Strike, add Flash when you need the extra reach, launch the enemy, then follow with Electrifying Charge and your ultimate.
Gap-Closing Tech — Double Launch

With enough cooldown reduction, Biron can chain a double launch: prepare one empowered attack, wait for Storm Strike to refresh, then chain a second launch before finishing with Electrifying Charge and his ultimate. Relentless and nearly impossible to escape."

2:30 – 3:10

Lineup Dynamics & Counters

  • Best teammates — heroes like Guiguzi and Lian Po can open the control chain, giving Biron time to follow up with empowered attacks and burst damage. Biron also benefits from facing heroes that summon additional units — against heroes like Milady and Agudo, those extra targets make it easier to build Charge before major engagements.
  • Tough matchups — durable sustain fighters like Ata and Dun can survive Biron's early pressure and force longer trades on equal footing. Meanwhile, heroes like Lu Bu, Diao Chan, and Marco Polo can punish predictable engages through mobility, true damage, or sustained kiting.
  • The longer the game goes, the more important your decision-making becomes. Build your advantage early, manage your Charge carefully, and choose your fights wisely.
3:10 – 3:40

Closing & Retention Hook

"Biron doesn't overwhelm enemies with one ability. He overwhelms them by building momentum they can't stop. Manage your Charge, time your engage, and force fights when your Electrified state is ready. Master his rhythm, and every battle starts feeling like a storm your enemies can't escape. Now it's your turn to bring the thunder. And I'll see you in the next episode."
